Elliotte Friedman en ajoute sur la relation entre Shane Wright et son entraîneur
L'utilisation de Shane Wright fait beaucoup jaser depuis le début de la saison. Repêché au 4ième rang du dernier repêchage de la LNH par le Kraken de Seattle, Shane Wright a seulement joué sept parties et récolté un point.
Le journaliste, Elliotte Friedman, a affirmé sur les ondes de Sportsnet que l'entraîneur chef du Kraken, Dave Hakstol, n'avait pas l'intention de faire jouer beaucoup Shane Wright cette année.
Friedman on TJMS: "It is very clear that unless Hakstol is forced to play Shane Wright more he's just not going to play very much in Seattle this year and so if I were the OHL I would be looking at this as an opportunity and the opportunity is we could have this kid back quickly"— NHL Watcher (@NHL_Watcher) October 31, 2022
Darren Dreger a aussi déclaré que le Kraken n'avait pas l'intention d'envoyer Wright dans la ligue junior.
Dreger on Insider Trading says it is very likely Shane Wright will stay with the Kraken. An interesting sidebar, there is a clause in the NHL/CHL agreement that allows junior eligible players to be loaned to the AHL.
